Partner visas
The Australian Family migration stream aims to reunite immediate and extended family members with their eligible Australian relatives. Applicants wishing to migrate under the Family migration scheme must be sponsored by a close family relative who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen and at least 18 years of age.

You may be eligible for a partner visa if you are:
• Engaged to;
• Married to; or
• In a de-facto relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, and/or eligible New Zealand citizen.In most cases, permanent residence cannot be granted less than two years from when you lodge your application.

Prospective Marriage Visa 300

The Prospective Marriage visa enables partners to travel to Australia to marry their Australian fiance.The Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) is for people who want to come to Australia to marry their prospective spouse.

It is a temporary visa for nine months. You must be outside Australia when you lodge your application and when the visa is granted. You can have the wedding in any country: the wedding does not need to be in Australia.

Parent Visas

To be eligible for a parent visa for permanent residency, the child sponsoring you must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. However, your eligibility may be affected by the number of children you have and their country of residence. Contributory Parent temporary Visa 173

The Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa  lets parents who are outside Australia live in Australia for up to two years if they are the parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia.

This visa is temporary and cannot be extended or renewed. After arriving in Australia, you have two years to apply for a Contributory Parent permanent visa (subclass 143). In this way, you can spread the costs of the Contributory Parent migration over a number of years.
Most applicants must be sponsored by their child. Your sponsor needs to have lived lawfully in Australia for the two years before the application is lodged.

The DIBP  Visa Application Charge (VAC) costs (Second installment:) for the subclass 173 Contributory Parent temporary visa are substantial

Contributory Parent permanent Visa 143


To apply for a Contributory Parent Visa (subclass 143), a parent must:
  • meet the balance of family test
  • have an assurance of support
  • meet health and character requirements
  • have a sponsor.

The subclass 143 Contributory Parent permanent visa allows parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia to live in Australia permanently.
Applicants must be sponsored by a child or spouse of one of their children.The applicant’s sponsor needs to be settled in Australia which means they must have lived lawfully in Australia for the two years before the application is lodged.

The DIBP costs for the subclass 143 Contributory Parent permanent visa vary depending on whether the applicant is applying directly for this visa or the applicant already holds a subclass 173 Contributory Parent temporary visa.

DIBP application fees – Applicant is applying directly for a permanent 143 visa:

Assurances of support/financial bonds required for the subclass 143 Contributory Parent permanent visa.
An Assurance of Support is a legal commitment by a person, not necessarily the sponsor, to provide financial support to the visa applicant and the applicant’s dependants so that they won’t have to rely on social welfare payments. It is also a commitment to repay the Australian government certain welfare payments if they are paid to the visa applicant or the applicant’s dependants.
The assurance of support is required for a 10 year period from the grant of the visa.Financial bonds required for the subclass 143 Contributory Parent permanent visa:

It is a requirement of the subclass 143 Contributory Parent permanent visa that financial bonds are provided. In the case of the main applicant a bond of $10,000.00 is required and in the case of dependant applicants over the age of 18 years a bond of $4,000.00 is required.

The financial bond will be retained by the DIBP for a period of 10 years from the grant of the visa.

Child visas

At our company, we know how much you want to be there as your child grows into adulthood. If you are currently living in Australia and your child is overseas, we may be able to help in reuniting you!
To be eligible to sponsor your child to live in Australia indefinitely, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident and/or eligible New Zealand citizen.
